On 17, 18 and 19 March, IPT hosted the 2nd Production Workshop of the Erasmus+ SkillFoster project, coordinated by DDL and attended by international partners NTCenter, Koç University, Sofia University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
The workshop marked the completion of the production of cultural heritage artefacts, bringing together students from all participating countries, including IPT students supervised by Professor Carla Rego.

The programme included sessions on the impact of digitisation on memory and cultural heritage (delivered by Lígia Mateus), an introduction to accessibility and tactile 3D experiences, photogrammetry and 3D digitisation techniques, as well as the creation of interactive 3D worlds. These activities offered students a practical and comprehensive perspective on the possibilities of digital cultural heritage.
Through the collaboration with LIED, the students also had the opportunity to experiment with artefact digitisation using a 3D scanner, gaining direct hands‑on experience with this technology.

This workshop provided a valuable learning experience, enabling students to:
- Apply digital tools in the context of cultural heritage;
- Develop practical skills in 3D technologies and digital experience design;
- Collaborate with international peers and learn from specialists in the field.
