Goals

The goals of LIED are:

Supporting the development of innovative distance learning programs, making use of information and communication technologies;
Creating and improving content for online education and open online courses (MOOCs – Massive Open Online Courses);
Promoting research in distance education by collaborating with national and international researchers;
Developing and participating in projects focused on pedagogical innovation and new learning methodologies;
Encouraging learning in collaborative environments;
Providing specialized solutions and services to the community in the field of pedagogical innovation and distance education;
Stimulating the development of academic skills among teachers;
Promoting research and training through scientific and technical events and publications.
