On February 13th, 2026, a hybrid-format workshop took place in Santarém as part of the T‑TalentTech project, integrated in Workpackage 2, Task 2.2. The event was organised in partnership with NERSANT and brought together several representatives from regional companies interested in contributing to a strategic reflection on the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector.
The workshop began with a presentation of the T‑TalentTech project, outlining its objectives, areas of intervention, and expected impact on developing technological talent and strengthening companies’ digital capabilities. This was followed by an overview of ICT sector trends in Portugal, highlighting the key movements shaping the industry.
One of the highlights of the session was the two discussion rounds focused on the identified trends, where participants shared their experiences, challenges, and expectations regarding technological evolution within the business ecosystem. These exchanges provided valuable insights for the project’s ongoing work and reinforced the importance of collaboration between companies, regional entities, and strategic partners.
Overall, the workshop demonstrated the relevance of promoting spaces for dialogue that bring specialised knowledge closer to the real needs of companies, contributing to a development path that is more aligned with the digital transformation underway in the country.
